Why doesn't anyone make a really good mobile phone/computing device?
It would appear that nobody has yet managed to come up with anything better than the iPhone which is a fun mobile computing doohickey, but from what I hear it's not a particularly good phone - mostly due to poor battery life and dodgy reception.
I also hate the idea of being tied to iTunes and only being able to run apps that Apple approve of.
The new Nokia 97 has great specs but all the reviews say the software lets it down.
My current phone (Sony Ericsson w960i) is a good MP3 player but is very slow when opening up text messages.
When will someone come out with something that is as fun as the iPhone, has a great QWERTY keyboard and standard
headphone socket like the N97, plays music as well as the Sony Ericsson line and is snappy and responsive in all areas?
Android, I'm looking at you.
